My name is Dr.Shaji Karun and I wear many hats—each one a reflection of my passion for excellence, precision, and purpose. I am a Consultant Naval Architect, Yacht Designer, and Ship Surveyor by profession. But I am also an Author, Abundance Coach, Feng Shui Master, and Life Coach by calling. My journey is not just about building ships or transforming homes—it’s about transforming lives, including my own.
From a young age, the sea captivated me. I was drawn not only to its vastness but also to its structure—its hidden logic, its rhythm, its power. That natural affinity led me to the world of Naval Architecture, where engineering meets art. Designing yachts isn’t simply about lines on paper or steel in the water—it’s about breathing life into a vision. Every vessel I create or consult on is a marriage of functionality and beauty, performance and elegance.
As a Consultant Naval Architect, I specialize in innovative marine solutions. My role often involves resolving complex technical challenges, optimizing designs for performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance across international waters. Whether it’s a high-performance motor yacht, a luxury sailing vessel, or a commercial ship, I bring a sharp eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
In parallel with design, I work as a Ship Surveyor. My responsibility is clear: safeguard the integrity, safety, and value of a vessel through thorough inspection and analysis. I’ve surveyed everything from superyachts to working craft, and my assessments are rooted in experience, technical mastery, and impartial professionalism. Whether pre-purchase, insurance, condition, or class-related, my surveys reflect a deep understanding of ship systems, structures, and the sea itself.
But there’s another side to me—one that many find unexpected.
Over time, I realized that success in engineering alone wasn’t enough. I saw people with stunning yachts who felt lost in their personal lives. I saw wealthy individuals surrounded by luxury but living in scarcity. And I, too, asked the deeper questions—about meaning, energy, mindset, and true abundance.
That inquiry led me down a parallel path: one of personal development, spiritual wisdom, and inner mastery. I became a certified Life Coach and later an Abundance Coach, helping individuals reprogram their relationship with success, money, and purpose. Coaching is not just about motivation—it’s about transformation. I work with individuals and executives alike, helping them break through internal limitations and step into clarity, power, and alignment.
Feng Shui was a natural addition to my journey. As a certified Feng Shui Master, I understand the flow of energy—not only in living spaces but also within ourselves. The principles of balance, direction, and harmony that govern physical space are deeply aligned with those that govern our inner world. Whether I’m optimizing the layout of a home, the energy of a yacht interior, or the structure of a business office, I blend Eastern wisdom with Western practicality to create environments that support growth, health, and wealth.
As an Author, I share these philosophies through writing—bridging engineering logic with intuitive insight. My books and teachings draw from both worlds: the structured precision of ship design and the flowing wisdom of universal law. I write to inspire, to educate, and to offer real-world tools for creating a life of purpose and prosperity.
Some people find it surprising that one person can embody both the rational mind of a naval architect and the intuitive depth of a life coach or energy worker. But to me, it’s all part of the same journey. Engineering taught me structure. Coaching taught me empathy. Surveying taught me discernment. Feng Shui taught me flow. Together, they allow me to serve in a way that is both grounded and expansive.
In my coaching practice, I work with high achievers—professionals, business owners, creatives—people who have accomplished much but still feel a deeper calling. I help them reconnect with that calling, remove mental and energetic blocks, and design a life as deliberately as one would design a luxury yacht. My sessions are a mix of straight-talking strategy, deep energetic work, and grounded spiritual wisdom. My clients value clarity, truth, and results—and that’s what I deliver.
As a Feng Shui Master, I conduct audits and energetic transformations of homes, yachts, offices, and personal environments. I bring precision and intuition into harmony, aligning the unseen energy of a space with the goals and desires of the individual. The results? Increased harmony, abundance, health, and flow.
Every area of my work—be it designing a vessel or designing a life—is about alignment. In yacht design, it’s the alignment of form and function.
